Hi Cheryl!!!

I’m so happy I read your blog! I just came in Florence, after being tranfered from Rome and I felt an inmense adversion towards this city…it’s just because I left my heart in Rome and I didnt want to enjoy anything of Florence, just because it was the way of making me stay away from the ones I love. But after just few days I could feel it conquering me softly and it seems I’m on the good way. Seeing your photos makes me believe that it wont be so hard to make good friends here

I sadly did not have much luck. I contacted the castle (Alberto Peroni) and he told me of some distributors in New Jersey, and while they did have one or two wines from the castle, they did not have Pazzesco, which is the one I was crazy about. Which were you looking for?

Cher…. Having lived and studied in Florence for many summers since 1995 and now I bring college students to Florence for a Study Abroad Progam every year in January, I loved reading your column in the Florentine…. tonight I was reading your most recent article and you were able to bring me back to Firenze…. it was almost as good as being there. Look forward to reading your next edition…
